About the Author
Roberto Saviano nació en 1979 en Nápoles, donde vivía y trabajaba hasta que en septiembre de 2006 el éxito del libro, que cita nombres y lugares, le ha obligado a vivir oculto y bajo protección policial permanente. Miembro del grupo de estudios sobre la Camorra y la ilegalidad, y colaborador de los periódicos Il Manifesto e Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno, sus narraciones y reportajes han aparecido en numerosas publicaciones y antologías. Gomorra es su primer libro.
