Bikol is always the beginning and ending of all the stories of Jun. Just like the folktales of Lolo Kakoy: surrounded with enchantment and mysteries. But it also leads to the dusty, smoky and sloppy city streets, from the dried grave sites and the shabby prison cells of Muntilupa, then proceeds to the crushed and staggering apartments in Pasay and Ermita and to the highrisers in Makati, then it goes back to the opening and mystery of Mayon. It's not really a turn around because the source is just there, peeping between experience and memories.
