About the Author

Doryane Kermel-Torrès is a geographer at the French Institute of Research for Development. She has conducted projects in Thailand related to the economic transition from agriculture to industry. Other contributors include Jean Baffie, Suchanya Boonvanno, Michel Bruneau, Eric Charmes, Jean-Paul Deler, Steve Déry, Manuelle Franck, Jean-Paul Hubert, Antoine Lauginie, Charat Mongkolsawat, and Philippe Schar.
