About the Author
BARBARA BLAKE HANNAH (Makeda LEVI) is a Jamaican journalist, broadcaster and film maker. A former Independent Senator in the Jamaican Parliament (1984-87) she is a leading spokesperson and lecturer on Rastafari. She has been a TV reporter in Britain (BBC, THAMES TV, ATV) and her films include 'RACE, RHETORIC, RASTAFARI' for CHANNEL 4 TV(UK) and the 'KIDS PARADISE" children's TV series. She is mother of Makonnen Blake Hannah, who at 13 (1998)was appointed Youth Technology Consultant to the Jamaican Minister of Commerce & Technology.
