"An Introduction to Politics" is essential material for first year students in government and for the general reader interested in the basics of contemporary politics. The book's various sections and lecture summaries deal with the subject matter of political science, different systems of democratic government, the rise and fall of communism, as well as issues in Caribbean politics such as constitutional reform and regional integration. A major feature of this work is its distillation of material dispersed in many books and relatively inaccessible to people interested in political affairs.
