About the Author

Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi was born in Sokoto State of Nigeria and had his early education there but subsequent higher education in both Sokoto and Plateau States of Nigeria. He has LLB (Common and Islamic Law) from the Usmanu Dan Fodiyo University, Sokoto where he graduated with a Second Class Upper Division; BL (Barrister at Law) from the Nigerian Law School Bwari, Abuja; LLM (Master of Laws) and PhD in Law from the University of Jos where he is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Private and Business Law. He has published extensively and is a member of several professional bodies and a Fellow, Resource and Human Development (FRHD).
