About the Author

Dr. Fong Ho Kheong was an Associate Professor with the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, till his retirement. He continues to be active in promoting effective mathematical teaching techniques. Dr. Fong has published more than 100 journal articles, research reports and books for secondary and primary levels. His series of primary mathematics textbooks is currently used in the majority of primary schools in Singapore.
