About the Author
Dr Raj Vasil has researched and taught the politics of Singapore and Southeast for nearly 50 years. He was lecturer in politics at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand for more than 30 years and a visiting Professor of Political Science at National University of Singapore between 1982 and 1993.
