Synopsis

This movie script has seven scenes and seven key characters. It encapsulates the beauty of friendship and kinship built upon love, acceptance, trust and respect. The theme is Let go, Forgive and Be Free. The characters are of different ages with multi-cultural backgrounds, living in various locations in four cities: Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau and Malacca. The main language is English and the scenes in Hong Kong and Macau use some Cantonese. At the core of the complicated and interwoven multi-cultural, cross-generational relationships are the ties and tidings between parent and child, master and servant, senior and junior, friends and acquaintances, offender and victim, donor and recipient, etc. The author intends to make this movie script interactive to its readers. Readers may fill in the blanks and partake in the movie as the script unfolds. At the end of each scene and the whole script, there are some questions for interactions and reflections. These interactions and reflections are useful for enhancing self-awareness and improving interpersonal relationships, applicable in both personal growth and the professional development of counsellors, social workers, educators, psychologists and mental health practitioners.
