About the Author

About the Author

Fynn is the founder of Happy Tot Shelf, a popular educational website about making learning fun and lively with hands-on activities for children. She is an author and a former Math and Science teacher. As she watched her children grow, Fynn was constantly in awe at how they loved to learn. Determined to nurture their love for learning, she applied her passion and experience in education to create enriching learning activities for them. She shares these ideas, resources and tips with parents on Happy Tot Shelf so that they can raise happy learners too.

About the Illustrator

Małgosia Zając is a Polish illustrator. She lives with her family in a very old city called Kraków famous for its castle and dragon. She has had the pleasure of working with authors of children's books from around the world, including Poland, Canada, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Austria, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. Małgosia is known among her friends as an avid collector of children's books.

The Slovenian edition of the book How to Frighten a Monster, illustrated by Małgosia, was selected by the Internationale Jugendbibliothek in Munich to be in the 2020 White Ravens list. Follow Malgosia on Instagram @ bigdotillustrations to view more of her wonderful illustrations.
