About the Author

Yoshiyuki Nagasaka is a professor in the Faculty of Business Administration, Konan University. He received his BS, MS and PhD degrees in Engineering from Osaka University in 1981, 1983 and 1992, respectively. In 1974 he joined Komatsu Ltd. as a researcher. From 1987 to 1989, he studied at the University of British Columbia, Canada. From 1994 to 2001, he was an associate professor in the Faculty of Department of Business Administration, Osaka Sangyo University. He moved to Konan University in 2001. His research interests include Business Process Management, Information Technology and Cost Management. Now, he is Vice Chairman, Japan Society of Organization and Accounting. He has published many articles and books in English and Japanese. His recent publications include "Business Process Management of Japanese and Korean Companies, edited by Gunyung Lee, Masanobu Kosuga, Yoshiyuki Nagasaka and Byungkyu Sohn, World Scientific, 2010".
