About the Author

Educated and trained in the north of England, Frank Lomax served in parishes in Northumberland. Between 1950 and 1962, he and his wife are involved in urban mission in Sandakan, North Norneo (now Sabah) as well as interior work with Kadazan tribal groups. They have lived in Singapore since 1974 where Frank Lomax first served as Vicar of St. Andrew's Cathedral and, since 1986, has been teaching in the area of spirtuality and worship at Trainity Theological College. They have a son in Scotland and a daughter with them in Singapore.
