About the Author

Randall E. Duran is the chairman of Catena Technologies, a fintech company that provides derivatives trade reporting solutions. He is also an adjunct professor at Singapore Management University and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). Over the past twenty-five years Randall has worked with financial institutions in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, including retail banks, investment banks, and stock exchanges. He has started up and grown fintech companies, has served as the Chief Information Officer of a US-based bank, and acts as technology advisor to financial institutions and Fintech companies. Randall is a member of the American Bankers Association Payments Systems Committee and the Cyber and Information Security Working Group.
