Yong Shi (Senior Member, IEEE) received his BS degree in mathematics from the Southwest Petroleum Institute, Chengdu, China, in 1982, and PhD degree in management science from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, USA, in 1991. He is currently the Director of the Key Laboratory of Big Data Mining and Knowledge Management and the Director of the Research Center on Fictitious Economy & Data Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. His current research interests include data mining and multiple criteria decision-making.
Dr Gang Kou Professor of the School of Management and Economics at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and managing editor of the International Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making. Previously, he was a research scientist in Thomson Co., R&D. He received his PhD in Information Technology from the College of Information Science & Technology, University of Nebraska at Omaha; Master degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Nebraska at Omaha; and BS degree from the Department of Physics, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He has published more than eighty papers in various peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
