This book will reveal the essence of creative digital thinking and its significance in the new horizon of creative learning styles in the Education 1.0–7.0 Spectrum. This book asks and answers current pertinent questions such as: What new windows of opportunity does the 21st century / post- COVID New Creative Learning landscape present in online, hybrid, and blended learning environments? How can the reader design and expand the creative diversity spectrum digitally and technically? To obtain stronger learning outcomes, how does one accurately and effectively transform abstract thinking, alternative thinking, comparative thinking, divergent thinking, and creative thinking into Digital Thinking? How much adaptation from the traditional learning environment is needed for a transition to digital thinking? We will examine the intersection of creative education, digitalization, and sustainability within effective modern teaching and learning styles within our chapters. Michael A Radin earned his PhD in mathematics at the University of Rhode Island in 2001 and is currently an associate professor of mathematics at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Michael is also an international scholar at the Department of Engineering Economics and Management, Riga Technical University in Riga, Latvia, at the Yuriy Bugay International & Scientific Technical University in Kiev, Ukraine, and at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Michael specializes in international, multidisciplinary, and online education. Michael recently published books titled International & Multidisciplinary Pedagogy and Designing Online Teaching & Learning Environment: An Innovative Approach with World Scientific Publishing Company, which thoroughly highlight his successful experiences and strategies.
Michael taught the SAT, GRE, and GMAT preparatory courses and a variety of undergraduate and graduate level courses, as well as conducted research projects with undergraduate and graduate students. Michael also has intensive international pedagogical experiences. An exploration of Michael's international frontiers commenced with his first sabbatical at the Aegean University in Greece during the spring 2009 semester, where he designed and taught a graduate level course on "Difference Equations". During his spring 2016 sabbatical, Michael also designed and taught courses and seminars such as "Discrete Mathematics", "Difference Equations with Applications in Robotics", and "Introduction to Photography" at the University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, Transportation and Telecommunication Institute, and at the University of Liepaja in Latvia. Michael also designed and conducted a seminar titled "Developing International Research Coalitions" at Riga Technical University Doctoral School, and designed and conducted a course titled "Risk Management Seminar" at the Department of Engineering Economics and Management, Riga Technical University.
Oksana specializes in teaching online and blended courses. These include "Professional English (Legal English)" for law students (Bachelor's and Master's), as well as "English for Professional Development" and "General English" for Bachelor's degree students. At the Institute of Management of State Protection of Ukraine, Oksana offers courses for Master's degree students. One of these courses is "Formation of Foreign Language Communicative Competence of Ukrainian National Guard Servicemen".
Oksana's teaching journey began as Assistant Professor at the Department of the History of Ukrainian Literature at the Institute of Philology. Her journey continued as an Assistant Professor at the International Students Office, and then as the Associate Professor of the Department for Foreign Languages of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law, followed by the Institute of the Department of State Protection of Ukraine.
