About the Author

Facundo de Zuviria was born in Buenos Aires in 1954, he has been a photographer since 1980. He has worked for important national and international magazines. He directed the Argentine projects on photographic heritage conservation for Fundacion Antorchas. In 1992 he received the Konex Awards Merit Diploma. Today he works on industrial photography for companies and design studios, and his works are regularly presented at individual and collective exhibitions. Many of his works are black-and-white photographs of Buenos Aires city, such as those in his book Estampas portenas, published in 1996.
