Schwierigkeitsgrad:3 = mittelschwer Die Romanze" (ursprünglich für Violine und Orchester) komponierte Dvorák zwischen 1873 und 1877. 1873 hatte er sein Streichquartett in f-Moll beendet, das Thema des langsamen Satzes hieraus wurde in die Romanze" übernommen. Wahrscheinlich entstand sie für einen Freund des Komponisten, den Violinvirtuosen Frantiek Ondrícek, der 1883 auch das Violinkonzert Dvoráks uraufgeführt hat. [br]Dvoráks erst in jüngerer Zeit entdecktes Autograph der Fassung für Violine und Klavier wird mit dieser Edition erstmals ausgewertet: Gegenüber den bekannten Klavierauszügen von Josef Zubatý unterscheidet sich Dvoráks Fassung für Violine und Klavier in einigen wichtigen Details von der Orchesterfassung und ist auch um einen Takt kürzer.
