Synopsis
It's the late 2020s, and Jimmy, a young man, finds himself in a growingly hostile and dangerous world. He is part of a small group of young people who are writers and songwriters, young people who are trying to help change their world. They are following the social revolution model of the 1960s, the Dylan era. He is also in love with a beautiful young woman from a wealthy family. They are infatuated with each other, but her parents forbid her to see him.
One day, a series of massive Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) events is emitted via solar flares from the sun, effectively destroying the world's technology. The event slowly sends humanity backward, and sides of the track no longer matter. The two of them, along with the rest of the Dylan group, quickly realize that their world is no longer safe. Mounted on old school motorcycles, they make a run for the West Coast to a rumoured commune in the Big Sur.
In a world quickly falling apart, Jimmy and Meagan strive to find love while coming of age themselves.
