Synopsis
We are living in an age of lawlessness. Across the earth, truth is being rejected, moral boundaries are being erased, authority is being challenged, and the order established by God is increasingly treated with contempt. What Scripture warned would come is becoming unmistakable: when God's truth is exchanged for deception, righteousness for self-determination, and divine order for human autonomy, lawlessness inevitably follows. From the beginning, God has revealed Himself as a God of Law and Order. His character is righteous, His ways are holy, His Word is true, and His Kingdom operates according to divine government. He establishes order according to His truth. Yet humanity has continually been tempted to exchange the truth of God for a counterfeit reality. The consequences are written throughout human history: wars, tyranny, bloodshed, corruption, injustice, rebellion, moral collapse, and the relentless struggle of humanity to govern itself apart from its Creator. Yet the problem is deeper than political systems, social structures, or human institutions. At the heart of lawlessness is rebellion against divine order. God is a God of order. He is not a God of lawlessness. His righteousness has not changed, His moral character has not evolved, and His holiness has not been abolished. The question before this generation is not whether God has order. The question is whether we will submit to it.

About the Author
Ps Riaan Engelbrecht is the founder of Avishua Ministries, the vice-president of Lighthouse Ministries International and the station manager of Lighthouse Radio.
