About the Author

Nancy Lee Gulbrandsen is a Jersey girl turned Florida resident who survived the trenches of online dating and lived to laugh about it. After years of encountering more red flags than a NASCAR race, she decided to turn her dating disasters into literary lemonade.
When she's not decoding the mysteries of men who pose with dead fish or crafting the perfect "swipe left" strategy, Nancy can be found walking with her trusted dating consultant, Max, a dog with infinitely better taste in humans than she's historically demonstrated.
Nancy has a knack for turning trauma into comedy and believes that sometimes the best swipe is a left swipe, and the best love story might just be the one you write yourself. She's also discovered that the most reliable relationship in her life is with her Netflix account, which has never once sent her a shirtless bathroom selfie.
Swipe Left is her debut book, born from the realization that if you're going to collect dating horror stories, you might as well help other women avoid the same cringeworthy encounters.
