About the Authors

Andy Rosa Adler is a bilingual Latina news and sports personality best known as the first female lead sports anchor in a top market. Andy has served as the co-host for theYankees, Giants, Lakers, and Cowboy's Pre & Post-Game Shows. Andy was also the sports and news anchor for networks including CBS, NBC, Fox, and Channel 11 in New York. Always leading with imagination and curiosity, Andy created, produced, and hosted the Emmy Nominated show, "One On One with Andy Adler" airing on Sunday nights. The segment garnered further popularity when Adler collaborated with 'Sports Illustrated'. Prior to moving back to New York, Andy was working at NBC in Los Angeles where she was the co-anchor and reporter of "Today in LA." Andy has also made appearances on MSNBC and the Yes Network. Prior to being the sports anchor for Fox in New York, Andy served as host of "American Latino TV," a nationally syndicated, weekly magazine program, and was an intern forDavid Letterman. Adler graduated with honors from Stanford University, where she served as News Director and anchor for the university's television station. You can often see Andy combining sports with her other major passion, being an advocate for children's rights. She is an ambassador for the Children's Health Fund and the World of Children.
