Synopsis
Brody is a young man struggling to recuperate from a traumatic event in his childhood that threw everything he believed into question. Having recently left home to start college, he hopes to discover an ideal-one that will help him to live life bravely, as his beloved father encourages.
Just when Brody feels that he might be close to discovering a cause worth fighting for, a violent accident sends him to the Land of Dreams. As the next chosen Griffin King, Brody must protect this dreamworld and embrace a magnificent destiny. Seven deadly Rankers, each embodying ancient sins, are prowling the land with their nightmare-born hordes, nesting in cities, corrupting citizens, and tainting the dreamworld. More than simply eradicating them, Brody must discover why these monsters are attacking now, and what their ultimate plans are.
Along the way, Brody makes cherished friends, uncovers fearsome secrets, and struggles with the ominous verses of a profound, ancient prophecy that seems to predict him as the dreamworld's savior. However, dark revelations and painful truths about those whom Brody most admires may drive the prophecy in the Rankers' favor...
