Synopsis

Book 1 of the series
In the coastal town of Boothbay Harbor, Maine, the line between summer tourists and hardened locals is clearly drawn. Jack Finn, a hardworking lobsterman, is merely going through the motions of life, haunted by the tragic loss of his girlfriend. He isn't looking for a change—until he crosses paths with Melissa Andrews.
A world-famous actress and singer, Melissa has fled the suffocating glare of the Hollywood paparazzi to reclaim her soul and rethink her future. But as two worlds collide, a new mystery emerges: Why is a lone lobster boat heading out to sea just as the rest of the fleet returns? Written with the authentic detail only a true local can provide, Jerry Farnham delivers a gripping tale of suspense, hidden community secrets, and unexpected romance.

About the Author

I'm Jerry Farnham, and I'm about as blue-collar as they come. Born and raised in Boothbay Harbor, I grew up with the sea in my blood and a wrench in my hand. Whether I was working as a sternman on a lobster boat or hauling traps from my own 12-foot skiff, those early years taught me that nothing beats a hard day's work.
My career has taken me from military service to construction sites and boatyards, but today you'll find me maintaining CNC machines at a machine shop here in Maine. I take a lot of pride in keeping things running smoothly through a 50-hour week. When the boots come off, I'm a dedicated husband and a father of two. If I'm not in my own shop tinkering with my Jeep, I'm teaching my kids how to build something new with their hands—passing down the same grit and skills my father taught me.
