Synopsis
New York City is no place for a tiger. Not for Sally Carter, who hides her true nature as a weretiger, and not for the white tiger she finds locked in a Harlem basement, standing guard over a fortune in heroin.
Sally's daring rescue of the animal draws her into the path of investigative journalist Dave Gardner, a man who smells more than just a story-he sees a chance to nail the drug lord who has evaded justice for years. But freeing the tiger sets in motion a chain of events neither of them could foresee.
As Sally fights to find sanctuary for the white tiger, Dave follows the trail back to the drug cache-and into deadly danger. When the drug baron strikes back, Sally and her weretiger husband are forced into a fight for their lives where even their formidable gifts may not be enough to save Dave-or themselves.
