Synopsis
In the summer of 2024, a struggling German publisher, Marianna Bekendorpe finds an ancient book in a bookstore in Paris that transports her into a 6th-century tale about a young magician called Alastair Thorne, a protégé of the famous mage, Merlin Ambrosius.
Accompanied by his five best friends, Alastair embarks on a journey to spread the word that magic is the birthright of all. Wherever they go, they inspire hope, and sometimes skepticism. This odyssey teaches them that true magic lies within.
This story, which has been lost for centuries, resurfaces in Marianna's hands. And with the assistance of a talented production team, she transforms this tale and republishes it as, "A Magical Mystery Tour."
Marianna's company desperately needs a best seller, and she is taking a big risk, and hoping that this wonderful tale finds its way into the hearts of a modern audience. And if it does, her publishing house will finally be a global success.
