About the Author

Born and reared in Danville, VA, Johnnie joined the US Air Force in 1970. After his four years of military service, he received his Bachelor's degree at Dallas Baptist University and his Master's degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Johnnie has served churches as pastor and educator since 1975. He has been employed by a daily newspaper as a contributing writer, which included numerous front-page articles, and has written for several monthly national and international journals and news outlets (Baptist Press).

Johnnie is married to Diane (Leroy), and they have two children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He has written a dozen books and currently writes novels that will cover the entire Bible. He has self-published six novels as of 2021. He currently resides in McKinney, Texas.
