Synopsis

In the soot-stained streets of Victorian London, a shadow is moving faster than the fog. It is not a thief of gold or jewels, but a thief of the self. The "Great Blanking" has fallen over the city, a mysterious, supernatural amnesia that wipes the memories of the populace clean, leaving them as hollow shells of their former lives. Shopkeepers forget their trade, families forget their names, and the heartbeat of the city has fallen into a terrifying, vacant silence.

To solve the impossible, two legends must collide. Detective Dee, a man of Eastern mastery and spiritual intuition, finds himself forced into an uneasy alliance with Sherlock Holmes, the world's greatest consulting detective. Strangers to one another in a world that has forgotten their shared history, they must bridge the gap between Western logic and Eastern mysticism. Together, they descend into the lightless veins of the city, following a trail of golden breadcrumbs and whispered rumors to the Tavern of the Beholden.

Beneath the cobblestones and the murky waters of the Thames lies a cathedral of madness. There, a rogue Alchemist seeks to "purify" the human spirit by distilling memories into a magical fuel, threatening to turn humanity into a programmable hive-mind of blank slates. As the pressure of the "Great Work" threatens to collapse reality itself, Dee and Holmes must navigate booby-trapped tunnels, face "Hollowed" mercenaries, and race against a clock that tolls for the city's very soul.

Prepare for a haunting, high-stakes adventure where every secret is a memory and every memory is a treasure. In a city that is losing itself, only the two greatest minds left can find the truth before the last light of the human spirit is extinguished forever.
