This book introduces the S.W.A.T. (Surviving With Awareness and Treatment) program—a proactive, trauma-informed approach to eliminating excessive force and saving officers' lives. It also challenges the community to abandon the victim mentality and restore the nuclear family. I speak the language of the block just as fluently as the language of the badge, allowing me to hold both sides accountable.
