When the North attacks, an entire village is wiped from the map. Only twenty-one men survive, including Opia, a former border officer whose family has been slaughtered before his eyes. Driven by rage, grief, and desperation, they flee into the forest, seeking ancient protection rites and the strength of forgotten powers.
As hunger, wounds, and the horrors of war push them to the brink, the survivors must innovate, sacrifice, and embrace powers they barely understand. With crude armor forged from bone, metal, and fire, they rise to confront a merciless enemy backed by forces beyond imagination.
