Synopsis
As a biblical narrative teacher for over five decades, I’ve come across a lot of tough questions. Some think my teaching should only focus on the gospel and avoid scientific and philosophical questions that seem to challenge the Scriptures. But I respectfully disagree. Our youth are exposed to ideas from their cultural and academic spheres that declare the Bible outdated and irrelevant. Recently, after I had explained how several scientific claims could be harmonized with biblical teachings without contradicting either, a college student came up to me and said, “I’ve never felt so proud to be a follower of Jesus.” I hope these questions inspire you to keep learning so you can better answer challenging questions like these.
