Synopsis
After an alien invasion is repelled, the United Earth Government takes the next logical step-create a Strike Force to pursue the retreating aliens, taking the fight to their homeworld. It is, however, a plan with unintended (or unreported) consequences.
Families are assured they will be taken care of, and are shipped to base housing. They quickly begin to question just what "being taken care of" will actually entail.
Promised a safe return to their families, the Strike Force trains for battle while traveling aboard unproven Near-Light-Speed (NLS) ships.

About the Author
Paul Andrew Schreck earned a Bachelor of Music Education from Wittenberg University, and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He started writing "Hard" Science Fiction" because he, "grew tired of watching protagonists race across the galaxy to save the day and still return home in time for supper." When not writing hard science fiction, he is writing children's picture books, making films, camping, bird watching, and of course, reading.
