Synopsis
I created this " pocketbook " while working on my dissertation for my doctorate in clinical psychology. It provides information and current research to parents who have children on the autism spectrum who are interested in animal-assisted interventions. This pocketbook outlines several areas in research, including therapy dogs and autism, how AAI can help children on the autism spectrum, and how to get involved in these types of therapies. I'm hoping to bring more awareness to this topic and the utility of using AAI.
