Synopsis

"A witty, raw look at one man's journey into his own soul that will resonate with your own, even though your paths and experiences may wildly differ. A mix of contemplative, psychologically sourced questions with thoughtful, genuine answers in a guide for readers looking to answer their own questions."
-Revised Ink

Whether you’re an experienced psychonaut, a humble student, or a curious observer of plant medicine and its growing impact on society, Magic Is Real delivers a digestible, relatable story for all of us who seek the best versions of ourselves.

As the popularity of ayahuasca soars in the West, more and more people flock to sacred ceremonies in search of healing, growth, and knowledge. But without deep introspective work before and after ceremony, the ingestion of this powerful psychedelic is destined to remain just another drug experience. Using the author’s sometimes humorous, often shrewd personal account as its framework, Magic Is Real illuminates the mysteries of a journey into the Amazon jungle to sit with this ancient medicine and provides an accessible guide for the modern human in search of themselves.
