After serving 24 years in the military, she retired as a Command Sergeant Major, holding various leadership roles in military police. A combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and a Bronze Star Medal recipient, she also spent 15 years in Corrections and High-Risk Juvenile Education. Passionate about writing, Mustang Sally views poetry as a timeless medium that captures human emotion and whimsy.
