Synopsis

LOGLINE: A treasure hunter and his estranged wife team up to search for a legendary sunken WWII Japanese warship carrying China's looted Gold Treasures.

THE PAST: The background of the story begins as WWII is Ending for Japan - August, 1945: Yellow Sea. . . Japan's troops are evacuating all of China.

Commander Ozawa is tasked with transporting gold and jewels looted from China's mainland on his destroyer KAGA-5505, when he learns that both Atomic Bombs have been dropped on Japan.

Upon hearing Emperor Hirohito's radio broadcast that Japan has lost the war, he explodes the destroyer KAGA, sinking the looted gold treasures into the Abyss.

MODERN DAY: Bohai Xiang, a well-known Kite-surfer and Treasure Hunter uses a WWII diary, to search for the sunken Japanese Destroyer with his estranged wife, Meifeng, to no avail.

As Bohai and Meifeng team up to search for more clues to locate the treasure, they are attacked by the Black Ops Agents sent by a rouge organization. When the situation grows out of control, they are forced to escape to a hideaway in the Shandong Mountains. There they join forces with Meifeng's Uncle, Colonel Longwei, a Chinese Special Forces Expert, as the Thriller gets increasingly dangerous.

About the Author

As a novelist, Ian Feldman has written several Novels including currently, "The Boy Who Rode The Dragon" an historically based romantic thriller that begins in Qingdao, China. The story, then crosses both China and Southeast Asia in an exciting event filled legacy. It involves a young estranged Chinese couple that are obsessed with WWII stolen Gold Treasure taken by the Japanese Imperial Army and hidden somewhere in the Yellow Sea.Ian has also written Novels - "Fontana", "The Blue Wall", and "Rendezvous in Majorca"(c.2004), a Cold War sequel to "Patton Mountain", followed by the future dark and ominous work "Har Megiddon - The Final Armageddon" (To be completed in 2026), the last element in his trilogy of historical novels.In addition, he is a Writers Guild of Great Britain (WGGB) Member and has written several screenplays besides a dramatic fully developed TV Pilot (twelve-episode screenplay) of his novel "Rendezvous in Majorca" completed in November of 2023. Plus, his dramatic crime thriller "Fontana" - is a multiple AWARD FINALIST in the 2019 Peachtree Village International Film Festival in Atlanta, GA, an AWARD FINALIST in the UK Film Festival in London, UK and a FINALIST in the 2019 Big Apple Film Festival and Screenplay Competition (NYC) as well as several others (nine total Awards). Another of his screenplays, "The Boy Who Rode The Dragon" - is also a New York Film Festival 2019 AWARD WINNER - and a European Film Festival 2019 FINALIST.One screenplay is currently Optioned, "The Blue Wall", it's another exciting blend of WWII history, in a modern crime thriller. Other developed screenplays are - "The Cricketer" - an Australian Film Festival AWARD Winner - "Gold Quest" - "Pyramid Mountain" - "Star Fish Prime" - "Carnal Designs" - "Probability" - and the "Rendezvous in Majorca" (Mini-Series).Drawing on his background as an officer in the US Army's Military Police during the Vietnam era, as well as his British Nana's Diaries, while working as an operative for British SIS and imbedded within the German Abwehr from the 1930's as well as her later writings after the war, Ian has a passion for intrigue and how it weaves into history.At the present time, Ian's focused full time on writing either novels or screenplays, some based on clandestine historical tales and amazing true crime stories, while others are based on creative concepts he develops every day.
