The Oracle consists of a series of episodic short stories that combine the likes of Ray Bradbury's Illustrated Man, Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone, and the short stories of Jeffrey Archer. The Oracle consists of a series of short stories tied together by means of a background story - a story within a story (similar to Ray Bradbury's Illustrated Man). And like the Jeffrey Archer and Twilight Zone stories, the Oracle short stories are written with surprise endings.
Years ago, I read many a book by authors of the Golden Age of Science Fiction. One such book was The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury - a very different adventure in reading. Bradbury certainly found an original way to present a collection of short stories - a series of stories within a larger story. So, I decided to take a leaf out of The Illustrated Man and write a book of Sci-Fi short stories in this Bradbury style. If you like tales with a twist at the end in the vein of the Twilight Zone episodes and the short stories of Jeffrey Archer, then you should enjoy these entertaining flights into the imaginary. If you do, please write a review of THE ORACLE on Amazon. I would greatly appreciate it.See more of what I've written at my author site www.frankfiore.com and if you want to stay up to date on new stories written by me, subscribe to my Frank Remarks newsletter.
