The advancement of AI reshapes the dynamics of teaching and learning, reframing what it means to be an educator or a student. As educators use AI tools for tasks ranging from content delivery to assessment and personalized feedback, they shift toward roles that emphasize mentorship, critical thinking facilitation, and human-centered guidance. Students are expected to become more self-directed learners who leverage AI for information retrieval, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. This evolving landscape reimagines educational relationships, responsibilities, and expectations in an era of intelligent system learning. Redefining the Roles of Educators and Students in the AI Era explores how the integration of AI transforms traditional responsibilities and interactions of educators and students. It examines the emerging skills, roles, and pedagogical approaches needed to support meaningful human-AI collaboration in learning environments. This book covers topics such as instructional design, student achievement, and digital technology, and is a useful resource for educators, computer engineers, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
