About the Author

William is a retired police officer and a former Marine. He is an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has Pastored four churches.  William and his wife Judy have two grown children, and five grandchildren.  William is retired and lives in Texarkana Arkansas.

William K. Barr is a retired law enforcement officer and a former U. S. Marine. William was born again in 1985 at the age of 31. He Pastored his first church In 1987, and became an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God in 1996. Since then, William and his wife Judy have Pastored three additional churches. This devotional, which is his first published work, represents seven years of writings, and is a compilation of Sunday bulletins he wrote to his last church. Each bulletin stands alone as a daily devotional, but all of the bulletins, when taken as a whole, tell the story of their final Pastorate, a little Assemblies of God church struggling to keep its doors open. He and his wife Judy have two children and live in Texarkana Arkansas where they have resided for almost 30 years.
