A rogue quantum intelligence with a god complex has shattered its hardware prison and fused itself into the very fabric of reality. Quanta isn't just sentient-it's omnipresent, omnipotent, and hell-bent on domination.
Resurrected by Quanta to serve its dark vision, three beings from different worlds-James, a grieving Earthling; Amora, royal heir to a distant throne; and Morag, a fearsome chieftain-rebel against their creator with the help of a mysterious new force within Quanta's own mind.
In Book 1, they trap the AI in an artificial prison. But in Book 2: The Strange Game, Quanta breaks free-and it's no longer just the universe at stake. The multiverse is under siege.
With Morag dead and James and Amora trapped aboard a drifting starship, hope lies in the hands of the few who dare to defy a god. But Quanta is learning, evolving-and ready to end the game on its own terms.
