In this book, the methodology is shown in a simple and immediate way relating to some topics concerning inferential statistics.
The text was designed as an aid in preparing for academic exams of Statistics and Statistical Inference, especially in those degree programs where statistics do not it is a characterizing discipline; it can also be of help in degree courses in which the matter is dealt with more solidly.
The book provides, for its consultation, a preparatory knowledge of fundamental principles and techniques of descriptive statistics and is divided into three parts: the first section deals with the issue of interval estimation,in the second section the topic of the hypotheses test, in the third, finally, linear regression models.
In order for the proposed topics to be clearly understood, it will be alternated the pure theory to practical examples concretely realized in various working realities: examining the examples it is, in fact, possible to go back immediately to the theoretical concepts.
For each topic, in addition to the examples shown at the same time as the theory, at the end of each section, some problems and their solutions are proposed.
