Synopsis

A Babel of words is a collection of poetry about dreams, emotions and revelations.

Rochelle Del Borrello has been reading and writing poetry since childhood. Granted it has not always been good poetry but over the years certain stanzas have remained as powerful memories, emotions and lessons gathered through experience.

Rochelle says how her first love is poetry. From old song lyrics to Shakespeare, Pushkin, the Beats and everything in between.

Her ideas come to her as fleeting images, emotions and shapes on the page.

They come from dreams, nightmares and memories.

Sometimes they are too personal to share, more often there is something about how the words sound together or the shapes they make on the page, it’s all very intuitive. If it works there is always something which brings them back.

Writing over the years there are many patterns, lessons life has whispered into the ear, things written down in these poems and to remind us of those brief moments of clarity in amongst the general rush and confusion of life.
