Synopsis

The Practice of Prayer - Bible Study Book includes printed content for four sessions, 30 days of personal study, “How to Use This Study,” and a leader guide.

This 30-day prayer guide will equip and encourage you to broaden your prayer life.

Each week begins by acknowledging learned and current perceptions about prayer as a starting place for inviting scriptural correction, encouragement, and challenge. In total, you will learn seven biblical practices of prayer: position yourself, pray the Scripture, list needs, lament, journal, engage in silence and solitude, and remember.

Each day of every week will focus on one prayer practice to reinforce your understanding. The guide will also help you apply the HEAR Bible study method for added retention of the content.

After just four weeks, you’ll know how to use biblical methods to engage more deeply with God in prayer on a daily basis.
