Connecting Christianity and Computer Science is a collection of computer science readings to serve students and faculty at Christian universities as a supplement to their computer science textbooks. This volume makes deep connections between Christ and computing. It is not a resource for superficially adding a “Christian component” to the classroom. In other words, it doesn’t advocate opening class with a prayer or asking a student to lead a devotion. Instead, it provides profound and meaningful connections. This work can be beneficial to anyone anywhere who desires to investigate the connections between Christianity and computer science. It can be used by professors to supplement their current text by demonstrating how to integrate Christianity into the curriculum. The text can be used by students for background assignments that demonstrate how Christianity has shaped and influenced their chosen major.
