Synopsis

Kidnappings and murder plague the poor and vulnerable citizens of Riverton and an apparent scheme to frame non-humans for the deaths of innocents brings the threat of even more turmoil to the already troubled city. Unexpected romance adds to the confusion, as does Lori's growing reputation as a troublemaker. Certain powerful outsiders are not amused.
