The writer, William Omondi Ochieng is an African author and successful entrepreneur born in Nairobi, Kenya. Writing is his passion as well as part-time profession. From a young age, he has been obsessed with telling great stories. This unique interest led him to interacting with renowned story tellers on various writing projects while he was still studying in school.

At one point in his schooling, he was recognized by the Ministry of Education in Kenya as the "Best male student". All through his life, William has scooped up many different awards that position him high in the society and qualified as the best person to tell this story.

About the Author

William Omondi Ochieng is a Kenyan Author and Entrepreneur. He was born on 5th November 1997 in Nairobi City. Writing is his passion as well as part-time profession. From a young age, he has been obsessed by telling great stories. This unique interest led him to interacting with renowned story tellers on various writing projects while he was still studying in school.

William got his primary education at Busara Primary School located in Nairobi, Kenya. Upon completion of his studies, he was recognized by the Ministry of Education as the "Best male student in public primary". This led to him joining St. Thomas Aquinas High School which is also located in Nairobi Kenya. Upon completion of his studies there, he was recognized as "Student with the Spirit of Service" by the local authority. Apart from that, William was also able to scoop up other awards for being an active member in St. John Ambulance Service, earning a 1st degree black-belt in Karate, demonstrating outstanding student leadership qualities while serving as the medical captain in the school and being an active member in the Nairobi East Scouts Association (NESA).

Following the completion of his high school education, William was able to join the University of Nairobi (UON) and pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Economics, Sociology and Philosophy.

Apart from this, he was also able to pursue the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification course and the Certified Investments and Financial Analyst (CIFA) certification course.

William also earned certification in processing statutory deductions like NSSF, NHIF and all iTAX processes in Kenya as well as certification in various computerized accounting courses like QuickBooks, Sage, Pastel and Tally. He is currently engaged in various entrepreneurial ventures. "Deals and Dollars" is his own authentic work developed for a period of three (3) years.
