By the time you finish this book, you will know how to prepare for the academic year, how to manage the various roles teachers play, how to cope with the challenges of teaching, and how to connect with your students and colleagues. I have worked in education for twenty-two years, teaching students of various grade levels and academic abilities. For the last nineteen I have been a high school English teacher. I have always wanted to write a book, so when the opportunity arose, I jumped at it. I hope by sharing my experiences as a teacher I can help others, especially those just entering this amazing, rewarding, but extremely challenging profession.
I am excited to continue working on my own writing, book narration, and voice over projects in the near future.
