What are you like when you are at your best?
Articulating Your Strengths offers a simple, mindful practice for discovering the answer in your own lived experience.
Rather than beginning with a test or a predetermined list of traits, you begin with moments that were satisfying, uplifting, meaningful, or simply good. By looking closely at what happened, what mattered to you, and what you contributed, you learn to recognize and articulate the strengths that are already showing up in your life.
With practice, you can:
• notice positive experiences more clearly
• develop language for strengths that feels genuinely your own
• understand what energizes and satisfies you
• recognize patterns in how you contribute at your best
• bring greater awareness of strengths into your choices and relationships
The practice can also change the way you see other people. As we become more curious about the strengths behind one another’s actions and experiences, relationships can deepen—and new possibilities for how we live and work together can emerge.
You do not have to become someone better. You can become more articulate about the strengths that are already yours.
