About the Author

Masood Hasan has written extensively for most of Pakistan's leading English language newspapers since 1970. His columns, mostly satire on the country's political and social scene, have appeared in The Pakistan Times, The Muslim, The Nation, The News, Daily News, The Khaleej Times and Midday (India).
He lived and worked in Lahore till his death in 2014. These articles have been compiled by his son, Faraz Hasan, in his loving memory.
