Synopsis

Todd hears a scratching noise coming from his closet and he is convinced that it is a zombie. With help from his best friend Jake, the boys seek out a magic marble that is supposed to banish zombies. Throughout the story, they misplace the marble and encounter a bully. The two friends stick together when dealing with their dilemmas and learn a good lesson in the end.

About the Author

Cindy Roman is from Toronto, Ontario. Her mother is from Petticoat, New Brunswick with a native background, and her father was born in Toronto Ontario with an English background.

Cindy resides in Durham Region with her husband, son, and her dog Abby. Her husband is a Canadian citizen and born in Santiago, Chile. Her son was born and raised in Ajax.

She started out a career as a daycare teacher and enjoyed entertaining the children through books by creating a voice for each character. At times she would act silly in front of the children as she acted out a character. Her classroom would laugh as she made a fool of herself to make the characters come alive. Cindy enjoyed reading books this way to entertain the children. She had a knack being able to understand the needs and wants of each child in her class.

Later on, in life, she pursued a career in the medical profession. With her compassion and understanding, she helps each patient feel at ease.

In her spare time, she helps other children's book authors promote their books through a group she has created. It is her goal to start a business that promotes books for children.

She once told me that she writes her books to relate to both parents and children and hopes that her books will bring a smile to all children.
