This devotional privileges the words and wisdom of Black women, religious scholars, authors, poets, preachers, and women whose names are relatively unknown. This devotional also takes seriously the power of Scripture to guide our daily lives. As a writer, it wasn’t enough to give you their words and God’s word, but I offer to you my words as a gift of love and spirit. However you incorporate it into your spiritual practice, my prayer is that this work arouses self-love within you, invite you to deepen your loving relationships with Black women, and inspire you to work for the well-being of Black women, now and yet to be born. Above all, may it encourage you to love…regardless.
